Made this super yummy two layer smoothie today, it’s the perfect afternoon snack! To make the first layer I used some persimmons, love using seasonal fruit. Persimmons are juicy & sweet, they are also an excellent source of vitamin C and fibre.
The second layer is made with bananas and blueberry powder. I used the powder by Helka Superfoods. This powder is 100% blueberry goodness, nothing else! 🙂 I also added some fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, some melted chocolate and then toasted coconuty bits for that extra crunch. So good!
This is a super fun recipe & so easy to make:
- – 1c pineapple
- – 1 banana
- – 2 tsp coconut blossom sugar
- – 1/2 c nut mylk
- – 2 tsp cranberry power
- – 1 tbsp almond butter (optional)
- Blend everything together until smooth. Top with your favourite things!
