Celery Pear Juice

I just got a new gadget! A cold-press juicer. I’ve been wanting one for a while, and now I’ve finally decided to dig ( very deep!) into my pockets and…taadaa! I am now ready and equipped to do some serious juicing.celery pear juiceI’ve been playing around with some classics, I LOVE carrot, orange and ginger. And since pomegranates are in season, I’ve been juicing a lot of those as well. 🙂 Speaking of pomegranates, I used to have the most horrible time trying to clean them. I recently came across this video that tells you how to get those yummy, juicy seeds out in less than five minutes. If pomegranates are also making you suffer, you can watch the video here 😀 celery pear juiceOn to the recipe! So this here is a celery pear juice. It’s got four ingredients, simple but powerful. You’ll need some celery, some pears, some ginger, and some coconut water ( or if you prefer to turn it into a smoothie like I did, some coconut milk ).

  1. Nice recipes thank you. Was curious to know what cold press juicer you got? I have the top of the line Omega but does cold pressing retain the nutrients better and/or longer? Thanks.

    • I have a Biochef juicer. 🙂 Am very happy with it. Cold press juicers ( some people call them masticating juicers ) produce less heat when they extract the juice out of fruit and vegetables, so more nutrients are retained. Hope this helps!
