Lingonberry Lucuma Smoothie Combo

Have you ever tried mixing two smoothies in one jar? Trust me, it’s fabulous! Today I wanted to share one of my absolute favourite morning treats with you – it’s a linbonberry lucuma smoothie combo. I love lingonberries! Some people also call them cowberries or foxberries. 🙂  They are a wild fruit that grows in Scandinavia. Lingonberry jams and syrups are really popular, but you can also eat them raw. You can juice them, or if you prefer, you can also find raw lingonberry powder which can be added to smoothies ( that’s what I used for this recipe ). lingonberry smoothieLingonberries are actually a superfood. They contain quercetin and proanthocyanidin ( also found in cranberries ), which gives them their anti-inflammatory properties. There’s also some lucuma in there, which is full of antioxidants, fiber, vitamins and minerals ( it’s super beneficial for your immune system!)

For this recipe I made the two smoothies separately. I first poured the lingonberry smoothie in the jar, and then topped it off with the lucuma mix. You can also pour the two at the same time for a swirly effect. 🙂
