I have discovered the “Miracle Oil” by Loa Apothecary only recently. It’s an organic, natural remedy (vegan friendly, of course) that helps hydrate and calm inflammatory skin conditions such as acne or eczema.
The oil itself is made out of a combination of over 15 botanicals, and is enriched with omega-3 and 6 essential fatty acids. It is suitable for all skin types ( including aging skin ), is palm oil free, and approved by PETA and Leaping Bunny.
I decided to give it a try thinking it could help reduce the dryness on my face, particularly around the t-zone. Have been using it for over a week now, and so far so good! I feel like my skin stays nice and hydrated for a longer period of time, and I find that my forehead is less itchy, a problem I had regularly due to my overly dry and sensitive skin. Another plus for me is that it feels light on my face and gets absorbed in no time.
If there’s one thing I don’t particularly enjoy about this oil, is the smell. It has a very strong medicinal/herby fragrance that when applied to the face can be a bit overwhelming. That said, it’s nice to feel like you are putting something natural on your face rather than something packed with artificial fragrances, parabens and dozens of chemicals.
