I just ❤ this banana ice cream recipe!! It’s super refreshing & creamy. Yes, it’s still winter and I probably shouldn’t be gulping down so much ice cream, but I can’t help it…it’s a serious problem! 😀You can have this nana cream ready in under 5 minutes. All you need is a blender, some matcha powder, some coconut sugar, a splash of nut milk, a pinch of cinnamon, and a frozen banana. I also added half a tablespoon of almond butter (that’s what gives it that ridiculously delicious creaminess). Skip the almond butter if you want your ice cream to have a strong green tea flavour. Top off with chocolatey bits ( for this recipe I used a Dark & Sweet 80% cacao Chocolita bar ) & there you have it – a yummy afternoon treat!
- 100ml almond milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 1/2 tbsp coconut sugar
- pinch cinnamon
- 1/2 tbsp almond butter ( optional )
- Chocolate chips
- Put all the ingredients ( except for the chocolate ) in a blender, and blend until smooth.
- Top off with dark chocolate chips.
P.S. If you want to try out the raw chocolate by Chocolita, you can check out their site here.
