The first time I tried Pana Chocolate, it was love at first nom 🙂 The bars are rich, have a lovely silky texture, and come in a variety of fun flavours. Currently there are 12 varieties, including some amazing combinations like pineapple & ginger, fig & wild orange, sour cherry & vanilla, hemp & nib, rose, and coconut & goji.
Pana Chocolate bars are handmade in Australia, using ingredients from around the world – cacao from Bolivia, coconut from the Philippines, agave from Mexico, coconut nectar from Indonesia, cacao butter form Peru, cinnamon from Sri Lanka, and carob from Spain. They are organic, vegan, raw, and gluten free; all the ingredients used are fair trade, free from soy and processed sugars.
The sweetener in these bars is coconut or agave nectar, both of which are low-glycemic, so these chocolates are also a great treat for diabetics. 🙂 I also like that they thought about using packaging that is eco-friendly printed with vegetable inks.
I really love this collection of chocolates because not only are they healthy, they are also rich, silky smooth, ethical and organic – everything that a great chocolate bar should be!
As far as personal favorites, I couldn’t possibly tell you which flavour to go for because they are all ridiculously good and surprisingly different. You’ll just have to try them all & decide for yourself! 😀 ❤
