This pineapple cranberry protein smoothie is a fantastic pick-me-up. It’s filled with loads of yummy ingredients like pineapple, strawberries, orange, cranberry powder, ginger, and pumpkin seed protein powder. I always like to add one frozen ingredient, even when I’m not making banana ice cream ( in this case I added frozen pineapple). It just makes everything taste a lot fresher, but of course you don’t need to. Also added in there some protein powder. Depending on who you ask, some people say protein powder is good, others prefer to avoid it altogether. If you’re not a fan, no problem, leave it out. The taste will be amazing anyway. 🙂
Here’s what you’ll need to make this smoothie:
- 1/4 frozen pineapple
- 1 banana
- 2 tsps cranberry powder
- 1 cm fresh ginger
- handful strawberries
- 1 orange
- splash of coconut water
- 1 tsp pumpkin seed protein
- Clean, peel, and cut the ingredients.
- Throw them in a blender, and blend until smooth.
- Top off with granola or quinola!
