In case you were wondering what health in a glass looks like, this is it! I had a pineapple in the fridge that needed using up, so i made this simple 5 ingredient pineapple spinach smoothie.
With the protein, fiber and zinc from the spinach, and all the vitamins and antioxidants from the pineapple, this drink is nothing short of a health energy potion!
- 1/2 pineapple
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 handfuls baby spinach leaves
- 1 tbsp rice syrup
- 100 – 200 ml water
- 1 tsp spirulina powder (optional)
- Cut up the pineapple.
- Put all the ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth.
- Add more or less water depending on how thick you like your smoothies.
